Definition
Bioaccumulation: 1) The increase concentration of organisms and waste in buildings and materials. 2) Elements that reside in building environments contaminated with normally low concentrations of various organic compounds. Health Note: 3) The increased accumulation of viruses, bacteria, fungi and yeasts, from improper cleaning and sanitizing.
